ASOS removes cushion with offensive mental illness slogan

Online clothing giant ASOS have been forced to remove a cushion from their stock and issue an apology after people took to Twitter to express their anger.

The offending item was a red cushion bearing the words: “I can’t keep calm and carry on, because I have an anxiety disorder”.

Furious? You bet. Customers took to Twitter to vent their anger and disappointed at the lack of judgement displayed.

Although they haven’t issues a formal apology just yet, they did use their Twitter account to say sorry to customers (or is Twitter a formal apology in the internet age?) They’ve promised to have the offending cushion removed soon.
