There’s another burger pop-up in town this summer: Coogee Burger Shack

Not to be outdone by the news of Mary’s Burgers opening its takeaway shop in the CBD, Coogee Bay Hotel is getting in on the burger action by setting up a pop-up store of its own for the summer: cue Coogee Burger Shack.

The first day of trading will be this Friday, 28th November from 4pm. Teaming up with charity OzHarvest, 100% of the earnings from Friday’s launch day will go towards feeing hungry mouths of Australia.

Chef Nathan Tillott of chef-hatted restaurants such as Prime, Liquidity and most recently popular Circular spot Cruise, will be serving up a storm of burgers and rolls. And the best part? They’re all only $10. #CheapEatsFTW

The menu includes:

The Pig

Smoked slow cooked pulled pork, apple slaw, crispy onions, smokey BBQ sauce

Prawno

School prawns, shaved iceberg lettuce, tomato & seafood sauce

The Shack

Beef pattie, jack cheese, fresh tomato & onion, ketchup, mayo and coral lettuce
