Where to go for Melbourne Cup in Sydney

It’s that time of year again, and the race that stops the nation is just around the corner.

Now, Sydneysiders, you’ve got two options here: a) dress up like a cheap exotic bird in your fascinator, and sob into your champagne, wishing you were at Flemington for the real deal, or b) harden up, throw back a shot and show those Melbournians how it’s really done. Also known as: look immaculate, bet your entire paycheck on horses and drink yourself into oblivion with your favourite people.

Where are the best places in Sydney to celebrate? We’ve taken the guesswork out for you, and created the ultimate Melbourne Cup guide. You’re welcome.
