Wire and wire forms:
Wires are usually used to bear electric loads, mechanical loads, telecommunication signals and they are flexible, cylindrical, strand, a rod of metal and solid forms. Usually, the wires are formed in the cylindrical form but it may vary for the desired need by varying the outline. There are various shapes, sizes in a wire form and they are used in different tools. The wire forms are made out of different metals and it can be made of stainless steel, aluminium, copper and it varies with the thickness. The wire forms are used in the following applications,

- Electrical switchgear and
- Textile machinery
The wires and wire forms are used commonly in electrical appliances. The electrical wires are the conductors that are used to transmit electricity from one source to another source like homes, business and the transformer that are nearby. The core material in which the electric wires are made is the copper and it may also be made of aluminium. These wires come in different materials, sizes and casings to maintain the various loads of electricity.
Types of electrical wires:
The electrical wires are of different types and the different types are as follows,
- Single-conductor wires: most common types of wire. These wires contain two strands and they are stranded and solid.
- Multi conductor Cables: These wires are usually used to connect heavy machines or appliances behind the wall.
- Metal-Clad Cable: It is mostly used in the industrial sectors to bear heavy appliances. The wire failure and fire risks can be reduced by this MC Cable because of its metal castings.
The cable is the assembly of more than one wire or group of wires which runs side by side or Blended and used to carry electricity. The cables are mostly used in electronic devices for directing the circuits and the power signals. The electrical cables have their insulations, optional screens, protective coverings, individual coverings, and assembly protection. The electrical cables are more flexible which are made by the stranding wires and the small wires which are individual are twisted and braided together to make large wires.

The cables can also be used in the buildings to control the circuits, for lighting, power, etc. The cable insulation can be made of fire retardant material to provide fire protection.
There are various varieties of cables and they are used for things like radio frequency signals and so on. The major types are coaxial cable, direct-buried cable, flexible cables, helix cable, multi core cable, paired cable, ribbon cable, shielded cable and so on.
